Difference between save and save as options in excel 2010.

Hello friends, I know that you will be using much application software in which you use save command many time to save your file and you will have seen another command “save as”. Are you know about this command? So today i am discussing about “save” and “save as” commands in various software. as you know that after doing work we need to store our data in computer permanently for further use so we save our data by using CTRL+S (shortcut key).

After pressing above command we see an dialog box, which contains some options as location or drive and folder and file name also. Whenever we need to make changes in our file and then save again, we save our file by above command but if we want to save this file to another place or device and a different name then we need save as command.
